Project Coordinator

About the Course: This three semester program that consists of Print Reading, Estimating and Planning & Scheduling. The Print Reading class consists of NCCER’s Fundamentals of Crew Leadership module and an overview of basic civil, electrical, instrumentation and pipefitting prints. Estimating starts the NCCER Project Management curriculum and overviews the principles of estimating as well as other project management topic areas such as safety, quality control, and human relations. The final class in the series is the Planning & Scheduling course where students complete a project involving planning and scheduling a turnaround project using Excel. The course also finishes the remaining modules of the NCCER Project Management curriculum. Students must have at least 3.5 years of experience working in the construction industry to attend this course.

*3.5 years of construction related experience and a signature from a company representative are required to take these courses.

One Year Program

  • 2 nights per week

  • 16 weeks per semester
