PIPEFITTING

INSTALL SYSTEMS. MASTER THE TRADE. POWER INDUSTRY.

Build the Systems that Keep Industry Flowing

Learn the skills to install, maintain, and repair critical piping systems in a high-demand field.

What is a Pipefitter?

Pipefitters are the highly skilled tradespeople who design, install, and maintain the piping systems that move liquids, gases, and steam in industrial, commercial, and energy facilities.

On a typical day, a pipefitter might read and interpret complex blueprints, cut and thread pipe, install valves and fittings, weld or join pipes, and test systems to ensure safety and performance. They work in environments ranging from refineries and power plants to manufacturing facilities and large commercial buildings.

If you have strong problem-solving skills, enjoy hands-on work, and like the idea of building essential systems that keep industries running β€” pipefitting could be the perfect career path for you. Many compare the trade to solving large, real-world puzzles where precision and planning are key.
